Finding your eyebrow shape

-To find where your eyebrow begins hold an eyeliner pencil on the side of your nose and hold it to the inside corner of your eye. That is your start point
-Then line up the penicil along the outside edge of your iris and that will be your arch
-With the pencil at the base of your nose, align it along the outside of the corner of your eye. That should be the end point
-Brows should extend a little bit beyond the end of the eye

Eyebrow Makeup

-Use a brow pencil that is hard and dry. If you are using a soft pencil formula, it tends to look more thick
-Apply brow powder which will blend the two together to create a soft finish
-Apply a colorless wax to the thickest part of your brow to keep hairs down and in place, if you have way thick eyebrows use a clear brow gel. That has a stronger hold

Eyebrow Shaping

-Use a white eyebrow pencil to mark the shape of your brows before you tweeze
-Apply brow powder with an angled brush to help you follow the shape of your brow
-Use a spooley brush to blend the pencil and powder and this will help sweep brows into place
-If you have loger hairs use brow groomer scissors to trim
-Use slanted tweezers because they are gentler on the skin and grab the hairs better than pointed ones
-Its best to tweeze right out of the shower. Make sure you still hold your skin taut

Flawless Foundation

-Test out foundation in natural light along your jawline
-Dry skin use a creamy foundation
-Oily skin or acneic skin use an oil free foundation
-Dull or ashy skin find a light reflecting foundation
-Opaque color concealer to cover up zits and a creamy concealer to cover dark circles
-Apply foundation using your fingertip to make dots on your forehead, nose, chin and across each cheek.
-Use a slightly damp makeup sponge to blend starting from the middle of your face outward
-Lightly dust a translucent powder over forehead, chin and nose
-Finish with a nice blush color

Eye Makeup

-If your eyelids are oily, dab a little translucent face powder on your eyes before applying eyeshadow
-Lighter is always best on the eyes for the daytime, go a little heavier or darker at night
-Remember if your eyes are strong in color, the rest of your face should be kept neutral

Wearing makeup in the heat

-Cream blush won't clump in the heat
-For the eyeshadow buy an eyeshadow base. This will help with creasing and it coming off
-Sheer lipsticks wear better in the heat than matte ones
-Water resistant mascara won't smudge if your in the heat
-liquid bronzers give you a soft glow
-If your wanting to wear a heavy foundation apply it a damp makeup sponge
-In hot/humid weather your makeup tends to become darker so check your reflection in natural daylight

Keeping your body soft year round!

-Warm 10 minute showers are best. If your extremely dry apply body oil and let soak in for a minute before you get in the shower/bath
-A creamy fragrance-free body wash is best. Stay away from deoderant soaps
-When shaving use a three or more blade razor and a shave cream rich with shea butter. If you get razor burn apply hydrocoritsone cream right after and then a cream with lactic acid the next day
-Exfoliate two or three times a week. Oil based scrubs are best because they will help moisturize. Shaving is a slight exfoliant so don't exfoliate during those days you shave
-Pat skin dry. While its still damp apply your moisturizer

Self Tanner

-If your worried use a gradual self tanner or dillute a self tanner with two parts tanner and one part moisturizer
-First exfoliate your entire body. Dry skin can absorb color unevenly
-Rub a lightweight moisturizer around dry ares such as knees, elbows and heels. This will prevent dry areas from absorbing too much color
-Wear tight surical gloves to apply. If you dont want to then scrub the palms, between fingers and cuticles afterward with a nailbrush or loofah.
-Apply using upward strokes, start at ankles and work your way up
- To lighten dark spots, rub a lemon over the area
- To fix a missed spot, scrub the area and reapply self tanner
-If it fades, as a temporary use a tinted body cream or oil
- Moisturize your body everyday!
-Dont use a self tanner on the face! it can clog your pores. Some companie make self tanner for your face. Look for that

Hands and Feet at their best

- Whenever your washing your hands do so with a gentle cleanser and luke warm water
- Moisturizing after everytime you wash will prevent nails from peeling and keep your hands supple. Find a moisturizer with urea or lactic acid
- Exfoliate hands and feet once a week. Find an exfoliant with jojoba beads
- Apply cuticle oil two times a week and gently push them back
- Once a week smooth calluses on your feet with a file or pumice stone working in one direction. Doing so with a grater or blade could inflame chapped heels. Apple foot cream or ointment and sleep with socks to soak up the moisture

Applying/Taking off Lipstick

-A stiff lip brush with a narrow tip works best for applying, blending and smoothing
-Lip pencils are good for setting lipstick! Find one that matches your lipstick. Line lips and then color in the rest of your lips. Then apply your fabulous lipstick
-When taking your lipstick off, use a oil based eye make up remover. There is no need to scrub it off!

Bold Color Lipsticks

-When first choosing a bold color lipstick, consider your natural color
-When your choosing a bold color, your blush color should be soft
-Try a tinted gloss or sheer lipstick for an easier way to wear bold lips
-Want to try bold colors but you have pale skin? Go with a tinted gloss or sheer lipstick
-When looking for bold lipstick, ask to see if it has red, orange, brown undertones, that is best...blue based reds can make you look more aged.
-If it is too intense, dont wear it at all!

Getting your lips ready for lipstick

-Exfoliate lips first especially if your choosing a dark color lipstick because the darker the more magnified your dry spots will look
-Dab a little moisturizer on your lips
-In the end....Perfect lips ready for color!
